Lively Leaps!! Finding Your Footing in Life

Life is WILD and sometimes you feel like you’re tripping over your own two feet. Maybe you’re juggling a new career navigating a major move, or simply trying to figure out what the next “big thing” is supposed to be. The feeling of not quite having your footing can be scary. It’s the wobbly in between speace where growth actually happens.

But here’s the secret: The leap is the footing.

You don’t find solid ground before you jump, you CREATE it mid air through action, experimentation and a whole lot of lesson learning. STOP waiting for the perfect moment or the guaranteed outcome. That moment doesn’t exist.

  1. Embrace your “wobble” season- When you first try a new activity- it’s going to be awkward and that’s okay. The “wobble” is feedback. It tells you where you need to shift your weight, adjust your posture, or try a different approach.

  2. Take the smallest step- The pressure to find your purpose or achieve peak success can be paralyzing. Don’t worry about the whole staircase. Just focus on the next single step. Small consistent momentums are powerful. Every small step is a lively leap forward that starts to solidify your path.

  3. Your direction, not theirs- We spend too much time looking at other people’s lives and use them as a map for our own lives. But what works for them is irrelevant to your own journey. Authentic footing comes for listening inward. Your path is yours alone. Trust the direction of your own inner compass, and you’ll find the ground solidifies right beneath your moving feet.

  4. Finally, stop searching for stable ground. Start moving. The act of moving, of making those lively leaps is the only thing that creates the stability you’re looking for. Go on, jump!!
